Petals + Paper Retreat
A floral-inspired art retreat designed for connection, play, and beautiful creative messes.
Come spend a few hours around the table with flowers, paper, color, and good conversation. This is not a “paint this exact thing” kind of workshop — it’s a relaxed, guided creative experience where you can loosen up, play, and make something beautiful without overthinking it.

What Students are Saying
Meet the Artist
hey. hi. hello.
I’m Beth Chien, a mixed-media artist just outside Chicago.
Along with painting and teaching online, one of my very favorite things is opening my home for creative retreats. I love setting the table, gathering the supplies, adding the little details, and creating a space where people can relax, connect, and remember how good it feels to make something with their hands.
Petals + Paper brings together a few things I love most: flowers, color, conversation, and a creative process that doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful. My hope is that you leave feeling lighter, looser, and glad you made space for yourself.
